Debora Hickman, DPT,WCS, has been practicing physical therapy since 1996 and is licensed in both California and Hawaii. She began her physical therapy practice in Redlands, California in 1998. She is also a lecturer at Loma Linda University and has produced a self-help educational DVD on manual lymph drainage (MLD). She is highly sought after as a physical therapist because of her creative insight and experience in helping those who thought they were without hope from traditional therapy or were unhappy with their response to medication or surgery. Through her experiences she has developed an innovative and whole-person approach to evaluating the body to treat pain and tissue dysfunctions, using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and electrical stimulation. Clients are referred to her from all over the United States and Canada.
Debora Hickman graduated from Loma
Linda University in 1996 with a Master’s
degree in Physical Therapy and in 2006
with a Doctoral degree in Physical
Therapy. In addition to being a Women’s
Health Clinical Specialist, she is a certified
Matrix Repatterning Practitioner and
Lymphedema Certified with the
Lymphology Association of North America. She is an adjunct professor at
Loma Linda University and a volunteer
member with the American Physical
Therapy Association of Specialization
Academy of Content Experts.
Currently she is promoting women’s health and wellness with the use of osteopathic-based techniques, alternative medicine, and traditional physical therapy. She accepts patients for obstetrics, gynecology, lymphedema, and orthopedic-related issues.
